Hi ya! Marlene from the ITS-Help Desk here. Thought I'd see what this program is all about. If I can be of any assistance to any fellow participants please let me know.
I went to www.fancygens.com They have all sort of fun stuff for Blogs. After picking the calendar you want copy the HTML code. Then back here on your Blog go to the layout tab. Their you should be able to "Add an Element". Click on there and it should give you some options. Choose the one that says HTML/Java and then paste that HTML code in the box and save. You can preview it to see how it looks. Its a bit of trial and error at times. And keep in mind that it wont look right on all layouts and you can't resize it as is. Unless you know HTML then you can really customize the site. I only know a lil HTML so I only play around with it as much as I can without throwing it all off. Hope this helps! :)
Oooh, thanks for sharing that Marlene! There was a question on the QL Chat site about where you can add things to blogs. I'm going to lift your suggestion now and post over there!
BTW, I also love what you've done with your blog. The colours, the icons, etc. Lovely!
Thank you. No problem... actually I left the link info on everything I added. If you just look near the item that you want you will see a message something like "get your own......." or something like that. You can just click on it and it will send you to the page where I got it from. Then you can get whatever you want from there. Have fun there are alot of fun "website widgets" out there. Or you can also do a search for "website widgets" for other such sites. Other sites that I got stuff from were Webfitti and Widgetbox.
